Dear Herencia Dominicana USA Community,

We would like to share that our Director has been managing a medical issue that has affected her both physically and emotionally following the 2025 Coronation. During this time, many of our organizational plans and events were temporarily placed on hold throughout August and September as we prioritized her health, recovery, and overall well-being.

At Herencia Dominicana USA, we believe that taking care of one’s physical and mental health is essential. We extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who has shown patience, care, and compassion during this period. Your understanding has allowed space for healing and reflection—reminding us that leadership also means knowing when to pause and prioritize self-care.

We’re happy to share that our Director is on the mend and that organizational activities have officially resumed. We’re excited for the months ahead as we continue to celebrate our culture, community, and the accomplishments of our incredible queens.

As we move forward, we want to leave a gentle reminder to all: take care of yourself—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Even if it means pressing pause, remember that your well-being will always be more important than any deadline, plan, or event.
